Although BPPV is the most common cause, multiple other vestibular and non- vestibular conditions can cause dizziness and vertigo. Every condition has its unique set of diagnostic criteria, tests, and management and treatment approaches.

- Quickly review the anatomy and physiology of the vestibular system.
- Practical and theoretical review of all 6 variants of BPPV
- Tests and repositioning maneuvers for rare types of BPPV
- History of the ‘dizzy patient’
- Diagnostic criteria for conditions such as Meniere's Disease, PPPD, Vestibular Migraines, Mal de Débarquement Syndrome, Hemodynamic orthostatic dizziness, SSCD, Central Vestibular Conditions, etc.
- Interpret findings and determine interventions and management of those conditions

Presenter
Dr. Rudi Gerhardt
Rudi holds degrees in Sports-Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, and a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Neuroscience. He has over 40 years of clinical and 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience at universities and has hosted several CPD seminars and presented at numerous conferences. Rudi is particularly interested in neuroscience, focusing on the vestibular and balance systems, dedicating numerous hours to research in this area. He has obtained certifications in 'Vestibular Rehabilitation' and 'Concussion Management'.
