Reading Fluency CPD - in person training

Are you a KS2 Reading Lead or SLT with strategic oversight for reading?

Join us for a series of Reading Fluency training sessions, aimed at Year 3 onwards. On completion of the training, you will receive a DfE-accredited certificate.

There will be two modules per session with tasks to complete between sessions.

Please note

• You must be able to commit to all sessions
• Spaces are strictly limited to 20, with 1 attendee per school

Session dates as follows:

Tuesday 17 November 2026 – all day

Module 1: What is reading fluency?

Module 2: Getting the text right

Thursday 4 March 2027 – all day

Module 3: Focus on automaticity building

Module 4: Focus on prosody

Wednesday 26 May 2027 – all day

Module 5: Focus on vocabulary

Module 6: Focus on comprehension

Cancellation and Attendance Guidance

As English Hub CPD is provided free of charge, we kindly ask delegates to notify us of non-attendance at least 24 hours before a session starts.

The Reading Fluency course is a sustained professional development programme and regular attendance is essential. If two sessions are missed, your place on the programme may be withdrawn.

Repeated non-attendance or late cancellations without a valid reason may affect future bookings. Delegates who miss two booked events without giving at least 24 hours’ notice may be removed from our delegate list and unable to book future events.
