Springhill English Hub are delivering The Department for Education's series of webinars on the writing framework.

These webinars are specifically aimed at English leads and class teachers. 

The fifth webinar will explore why teaching sentence construction is essential for developing strong composition skills.

It will showcase effective methods for teaching sentence structure and paragraph organisation. In addition, it will emphasise the role of grammar.

The session will also present approaches that successfully shift responsibility from teacher-led instruction to pupil independence when teaching composition.

Finally, the webinar will examine each stage of the writing process—planning, drafting, revising, editing, and sharing—and highlight the value of every phase.

The webinar will be delivered by Vanessa Chandler.
