Spurn Bird Observatory Trust is an independent conservation charity based in Kilnsea, just north of the Spurn Peninsula in East Yorkshire. Founded in 1946, we work to monitor and protect migrating birds and their habitats, while inspiring people to connect with nature.

We manage around 14 acres of land, train and support volunteers, and provide affordable accommodation for naturalists and researchers. Through research, conservation projects and events like Migfest, we help protect wildlife and enable people of all ages to experience one of the UK’s most important migration sites.
