ABOUT THE EVENT + TICKETS:

• This in-person event will feature a book talk and audience Q&A, followed by a book signing (more information on signing is below). 
• Each ticket costs $35, including all tax and payment processing fees.
• Each ticket gives entry for one person to the event, and includes one signed hardcover copy of WHO NEEDS FRIENDS (distributed at the event).
• Books will be pre-signed; the event will also be followed by a signing line if you would like your copy personalized. 
• Books uncollected at the event will be held for pickup at Square Books for two months, after which they will be released back to the store.
• Tickets do not qualify for Constant Reader credit. All sales are final.

A NOTE ABOUT TICKET PACKAGE BUNDLING: We understand you may be coming with a partner/friend and wish for only one book with your tickets. Ticket structure ("bundling") is generally determined by a publisher/author's touring requirements, and bundling a ticket with a book allows us to bring a diverse range of authors to Square Books (as well as support the cost of the event production). The book is a bonus on top of seeing your favorite author speak; plus, signed books make great gifts! Thank you for your understanding and support.

Andrew McCarthy is the author of four books, Walking with Sam: A Father, a Son, and Five Hundred Miles Across Spain, Brat: An '80s Story, Just Fly Away, and The Longest Way Home — all New York Times best sellers. He is an award-winning travel writer and served for a dozen years as an editor-at-large at National Geographic Traveler. Best known as an actor for the past four decades, Andrew has appeared in such iconic films as Pretty in Pink and Less Than Zero. He lives in New York.
