ABOUT THE EVENT

• This is an in-person SIGNING ONLY event.
• Each ticket costs $37, including all tax and payment processing fees.
• DRESS CODE: Every Elin Hilderbrand event has a color. Wear NAVY for the chance to be featured on Elin's social media!
• Purchase of a tickets gives entry for one person to the event, and includes one hardcover copy of THE THOROUGHBREDS (distributed at the event).
• Books uncollected at the event will be held for pickup at Square Books for two months, after which they will be released back to the store.
• Tickets do not qualify for Constant Reader credit. All sales are final.

A NOTE ABOUT TICKET PACKAGE BUNDLING: We understand you may be coming with a partner/friend and wish for only one book with your tickets. Ticket structure ("bundling") is generally determined by a publisher/author's touring requirements, and bundling a ticket with a book allows us to bring a diverse range of authors to Square Books (as well as support the cost of the event production). The book is a bonus on top of seeing your favorite author speak; plus, signed books make great gifts! Thank you for your understanding and support.

About the Authors

Elin Hilderbrand is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Iowa Writers Workshop. The Thoroughbreds is her thirty-second novel, and the second co-written with her daughter, Shelby Cunningham. Hilderbrand is the co-host of the podcast “Books, Beach and Beyond” along with @TimTalksBooks creator, Tim Ehrenberg. She is raising four young adult children and likes to spend her free time at the beach and on her Peloton. She's a grateful ten-year breast cancer survivor.

Shelby Cunningham was born and raised on Nantucket Island. She’s a 2024 graduate of St. George’s School in Middletown, Rhode Island. She is presently a student at the University of Miami in Coral Gables. (Sorry, Shelby Cunningham will not be appearing for the event).
