We Are Opening Our Doors!

Echoes Of Infinite Clouds - our first-ever public event at our Cheltenham HQ promising an unforgettable evening of experimental works using light and sound…

“A matrix of coloured lights hangs from the ceiling and surrounds the crowd. Young and old, excitement swells from the audience as they swarm in and out of the setup. Inside the light matrix, sounds swoop above you, swirl around you like incense smoke and crawl through you like a spectral creature, all through these complex 3D light patterns. ” - The Guardian

“They are collaborating, ideating and playing with technology – bringing people closer together in the process.” - Aesthetica Magazine

On Friday 3rd July we will be hosting our first-ever public event at our studio headquarters in Cheltenham -  Echoes Of Infinite Clouds

The event marks a significant milestone for our studio, which has spent more than two decades creating experiences that blend art, technology, light, sound, and audience participation. Our Gloucestershire headquarters has served as the development hub for projects exhibited at leading galleries, festivals, and cultural venues around the world; “After years of taking our work out into the world we’re finally inviting the public into our own studio. This is the first in an ongoing series of events here in our studio - a chance to step inside our immersive light and sound installations” - Hannah Brady

The evening will include an excerpt from  Echoes Of Hill and Horizon, last seen  as part of the Southbank Centre’s Multitudes Festival 2026 and a listening room featuring Surface Tension; a new composition for Electric Upright Bass and Electronics by Ant Rowe and Rory Thomas-Lawton.
Infinite Clouds (fresh from a sold out show at Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art SMOCA in Arizona) sees our Infinite installation become a three-dimensional instrument, played live with an improvisational performance by celebrated saxophonist Rachel Musson and Squidsoup founder Ant Rowe. The performance will explore real-time spatial and narrative possibilities of the Infinite artwork, comprising over 200 dynamic points of light and sound and creating a unique series of intimate experiences and encounters among physical space, technology and music.

“The entire show felt like a giddy experiment in an illuminated wonderland. It was escapist, but confrontational; a spectacle from start to finish that won’t be forgotten in a hurry.” - The Evening Standard

Adding to the atmosphere, Echoes Of Infinite Clouds will feature a popup bar supported by our friends DEYA Brewing Company,  one of Cheltenham's most celebrated independent breweries, and artisan bakery La Boulangerie Artisan will be opening up their bakery for food and drinks…Also huge thanks to our other event partners Golden Valley and Hidden Notes
