Year 6 into Year 7 Transition Workshop Day 3

Our three Transition Workshops will run after school with each event focusing on a different one of our school motto – 'Work With Love'.
Pupils will be able to sign up to one workshop per week. We encourage all pupils to attend all three Monday sessions to gain the full experience.

Please arrive at 3.30pm for the workshop which will be delivered from 3.45pm to 4.45pm.

'Work' motto:

• PE: 🏃‍♀️🏏 Rounders – Step up to the plate and get into the swing of rounders! Build teamwork, boost your skills, and enjoy fast-paced fun as you bat, bowl, and race for runs in this energetic session. Ready to play? Let’s go! Sports clothing and trainers needed.
• DT: 👩‍🍳 Cookie Monster – Roll up your sleeves and get baking! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll mix, create, and decorate tasty treats while learning new kitchen skills. Discover your creativity and awaken your inner chef!

'With' motto:

• Chemistry: 🧪  Colour-Changing Chemistry: Become a pH Detective! 🔍🌈 – Step into the shoes of a real scientist in this explosive (not literally!) chemistry taster session! You’ll create your very own magical red cabbage indicator and use it to uncover the secret identities of everyday substances — are they acids, bases, or somewhere in between? Watch colours transform before your eyes and unlock the colourful code of chemistry. If you love colour, science, and a bit of mystery, this is the session for you!
•  The Garden: 🌱 Roots and Shoots – Ways I am connected to the human family in the world.

'Love' motto:

• Chaplaincy: 🎨 Marble Art – Get creative with colour and movement as you design beautiful marble-painted gift cards to take home or share with someone special. A calm, hands-on session full of creativity, care, and joy.
• Art: ✏️ Sketching: Be inspired by creativity all around you as you sketch from our Summer Exhibition! Explore ideas, develop your drawing skills, and capture what catches your eye in this relaxed and imaginative session. Let your creativity flow!
• DanceMode.co 💃Street Dance - Get ready to move, groove, and bring the energy! Street Dance Class is all about bold beats, sharp moves, and building confidence on the floor.
