BIRMINGHAM JEWELLERY QUARTER WALK/RBSA GALLERY VISIT

Ed Isaacs, Chairman of the Wolverhampton Arts Society, has very kindly agreed to lead a tour of Birmingham's fascinating Jewellery Quarter for us. 

We will meet at the Jewellery Quarter Station at 10.45 am and take a walking tour around some of the most interesting sites before ending the tour at the St. Paul's House in St. Paul's Square. 

This is a very comfortable pub/eatery where we will have lunch (own expense). There are many other places for you if this doesn't appeal  - or bring a picnic and sit outside St Paul's Church...

After this break Ed will then lead us to the gallery of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists where we will view their summer show. https://rbsa.org.uk/event/rbsa-summer-show-2026/ 

Ed is currently President of this Society and is an acclaimed pen and ink artist and urban sketcher who has produced a book on the Jewellery Quarter.

The fee for this tour is £16.25.  This does not include any travel or refreshments. Entry to the Gallery is free of charge.

Stafford Arts Society will be making a donation for Ed's time to the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.

(FYI  - There is a train at 9.39am from Stafford (9.45am from Penkridge) that arrives at the Jewellery Quarter station at 10.27 (changing at
Smethwick Galton Bridge.)

We will meet at street level. Please note no toilets at the station.
