STST Film Club | Queeriosities x Tranz Tropez

Staffordshire St Film Club presents Queeriosities × Tranz Tropez, a special one-night screening: a series of films inspired by this year's Queeriosities centrepiece exhibition, Here We Go Again, which interrogates the idea of "truth" in a moment of increasingly unstable realities. Ticket holders for Tranz Tropez will also receive an exclusive 10% discount on Opening Night tickets for Queeriosities 2026.

The evening opens with a panel discussion featuring Lo Augusta, founder of Tranz Tropez, and Davy Pittoors, founder and curator of Queeriosities, joined by featured creatives from the arts and film industries. Together they'll explore how queer artists and filmmakers navigate the messy questions of truth, reality and identity in a world now shaped by misinformation, algorithmic echo chambers and the disruptive rise of AI.

Following the conversation, Tranz Tropez presents a specially curated programme of short films celebrating queer, trans and non-binary filmmakers, before a closing Q&A with the panellists and filmmakers.

STST Film Club at Staffordshire St provides collectives, curators and audiences with a space to explore cinematic conversations, push the boundaries of experimental film and showcase archival heritage footage.

Tranz Tropez is an event in South East London which screens shorts made by trans filmmakers. Dedicated to building community and conversations around a shared love of film, Tranz Tropez is a place you can go to watch, learn from and help provide a platform for trans talents.

Queeriosites | @queeriosities_
Queeriosities is a travelling platform that elevates LGBTQIA+ creatives expressing their identities through art, craft, and design. Ranging from intimate exhibitions to full-scale art and makers fairs, its initiatives highlight those who have been historically sidelined, serving as a platform that brings communities together and connects them with new audiences.

Accessibility: There is step-free access to the gallery via the door to the left hand side of the main entrance. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet. The event will be taking place in the exhibition space, which is a large open room with bright lighting and some seating available. View our accessibility rider here. 

Staffordshire St is an independent project space in Peckham, South East London. The venue facilitates arts and cultural events and provides affordable studios for artists, makers and designers. ​

Staffordshire St is not-for-profit and all income is invested into developing our public programme which launched the summer of 2022. The venue was established as an art gallery in 2017, before then it was vacant for many years after a community centre closed. Originally it was built as a Methodist Hall. We intend to support a range of cultural events for the local community.
