Billy Elliot is a critically acclaimed stage musical based on the 2000 film, featuring music by Elton John and book/lyrics by Lee Hall. Set during the 1984–1985 British miners' strike in County Durham, it follows a working class boy who swaps boxing for ballet, defying family resistance to pursue his dream. With brilliant music and choreography, it's one not to be missed.
