Level 2 Acting Repertoire: Exciting Materials, Themes, and Techniques for Captivating Learning 606010 [UK Time Zone]

Thu 24 Sep 2026 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM BST Online, Zoom

This Level 2 training session is designed to support Stagecoach drama teachers in enriching their lesson content with bold, engaging, and meaningful acting repertoire that captivates students and deepens their learning experience.

Building on the foundations of Level 1, this session explores a wide range of themes, texts, and performance techniques suitable for different age groups and skill levels. You’ll discover how to select and adapt exciting material—ranging from classical to contemporary, scripted to devised—to support skill progression, creativity, and confidence in the classroom.

We’ll also look at how to embed key acting skills through repertoire, link content to the Stagecoach Educational Framework, and plan lessons that are inclusive, imaginative, and relevant. You’ll explore creative approaches to storytelling, character development, and ensemble work, while also learning how to build structure across a term or project.

With time dedicated to sharing good practice, trying out material, and reflecting on what works in different settings, this session will leave you feeling refreshed, inspired, and equipped with a bank of adaptable repertoire and techniques to elevate your teaching and engage every student.

Perfect for teachers ready to broaden their toolkit and bring fresh energy to their drama lessons.
