Level 3 Excellence in Action: Mastering Advanced Teaching Techniques and Delivering Outstanding Practice 606010

Wed 7 Oct 2026 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM BST Online, Zoom

For experienced Stagecoach teachers committed to refining their craft and driving learner progress through outstanding classroom practice.

This advanced training session is designed for practitioners who already demonstrate strong teaching fundamentals and are now ready to focus on the finer points of pedagogy, learner empowerment, and progression planning. Through deep reflection, discussion, and practical strategy, teachers will explore how to consistently deliver sessions that not only meet expectations—but exceed them.

Key focus areas include:

  • Empowering learners through responsibility: Learn how to embed purposeful student responsibility into your sessions—fostering independence, ownership, and leadership within the learning environment.

  • Evolving peer-to-peer feedback: Build on prior understanding to develop more nuanced and structured peer-feedback strategies. Explore how to cultivate a feedback-rich culture that drives motivation, reflection, and learner agency.

  • Refining differentiation and reasonable adjustments: Evaluate how well your current strategies are meeting diverse needs, and advance your approach to ensure equity, accessibility, and stretch for all learners.

  • Advanced scaffolding for stretch and challenge: Use intentional scaffolding to build complexity, deepen understanding, and push high-ability learners further—while maintaining clarity and support for those who need it.

This is a reflective, high-level session that equips you with the tools and mindset to deliver truly outstanding practice. Expect to challenge your own habits, refine your approach, and leave with strategies that elevate both teaching and learner outcomes.

These internal levels are not equivalent to primary qualifications and do not correspond to any nationally recognised attainment levels as defined by Ofqual or any other awarding body.
