Get ready to take your Show Term to the next level with this practical, interactive online training session designed to support Stagecoach teachers in planning and delivering a successful, stress-free, and inspiring performance experience.

In this session, we’ll explore The Show Toolkit in detail and share top tips and tricks to help you make the most of every rehearsal. From creative games that embed stagecraft skills to smart scheduling strategies, you'll leave with practical ideas that maximise your time, boost student confidence, and support meaningful progress across the term.

We’ll cover everything from themes and intentions to pre-planning and rehearsal schedules, how to mark up scripts with entrances and exits, and techniques for teaching line learning, ensemble work, and stage presence. There’ll be guidance on casting and auditioning, incorporating inclusive practice, and supporting older students with additional responsibilities.

We’ll also look at how to manage props, costume, and set, collaborate effectively as a team, and prepare students for tech and dress rehearsals, including what to expect when working in a theatre setting. Plus, we’ll explore the use of Stagecoach Encore Cards to support student development and reflection throughout the process.

With opportunities to share good practice and hear from fellow teachers, this session is packed with inspiration and support to help you craft a show term that’s both high-quality and highly enjoyable — for students, teachers, and Principals alike.

Important Advisory on Course Levels

Please note: The term "level" as used in our teacher training courses refers solely to Stagecoach's internal framework of professional development. It is designed to indicate progression within our own three-tier training structure and should not be interpreted as representing a formal qualification level. These internal levels are not equivalent to primary qualifications and do not correspond to any nationally recognised attainment levels as defined by Ofqual or any other awarding body. By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge that you understand and accept this distinction.
