Stampede by the Sea Farewell Event
A very special herd of elephants will be arriving in Bridport, West Bay, and Lyme Regis on 28th March, 2025 for eight weeks, before this very special final exhibition of all the sculptures together in Dorchester!
Stampede by the Sea will transform the area into a vibrant, fun, and free art trail that local families and visitors will never forget. Thirty striking and colourful elephants will be waiting to be discovered, each designed and painted by talented artists.
The trail will conclude with each sculpture being auctioned for charity. A Mini Herd of baby elephants, created by local schools and artists, will also be on the trail.
Stampede by the Sea is raising funds for Weldmar Hospicecare, who provide specialist end of life care for local adults with a life limiting illness, and support for their loved ones.
Before the herd are auctioned on Thursday 19th June, you'll be able to see all of the sculptures together in one place for the final time, at our Farewell Event at the Corn Exchange in Dorchester.

Children aged 0-2 are free. Youngsters aged 3-15 will require a child's ticket for entry. Please note there are no further concessions.
