ABOUT THE LEADER

Kairos Arts Ministry is pleased to announce this hands-on workshop with Kurt Caddy, a certified Kintsugi Workshop leader. Kurt is the founder of Fourwinds Faith and Art, a ministry aimed at inspiring the church to engage with the arts in discipleship, worship, and evangelism. His works of art, fine art paintings and Kintsugi bowls, are currently on display in The Kairos Gallery at St. Andrew's Church, Mount Pleasant.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

In this Kintsugi workshop, Kurt emphasizes the theological and experiential significance of Kintsugi, using it to illustrate the Gospel message of redemption and transformation, drawing a parallel to mending the broken areas of our lives, making them more beautiful than before. Like the broken vessel, our brokenness can be healed and transformed by God's grace. Most people find Kintsugi to be a deeply meaningful and even healing experience. Under Kurt's full instruction and personal guidance, participants will create their own Kintsugi bowl to take home.

This same workshop is also being offered as a Morning Workshop beginning at 9am. (Note: Childcare is NOT offered for the morning workshop.)

All materials are supplied.
Space is limited to 25 people.
Cost for the workshop is $60.

Complimentary childcare for this afternoon session is available for children 2nd grade and under. You must reserve space for your child(ren) when you purchase your ticket. No drop-ins please.
