A Journey Into Mindful Sound - Bridging the Ancient with the Present

Fri Apr 3, 2026 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM MDT

Michael and Jahna, partners in life and sound, are honored to offer their mindful soundscape soundbath in grateful collaboration with StarHouse, devoted to renewal and new beginnings. Held within StarHouse’s living geometry and in deep reverence for it as a sanctuary of conscious connection, they weave a rich tapestry of ancient Himalayan singing bowls (300-600 yrs old), sacred toning, mindfulness, gongs, flutes, handpan, and Koshi bells, creating an immersive field that supports deep rest, inner clarity, and embodied presence. This shared offering invites participants to gently release what has completed its cycle while opening to fresh intention and possibility - aligning personal renewal with the rhythms of nature and the cosmos, where grounding and expansion meet and new beginnings are welcomed with openness, intention, and grace.  Please arrive at 6:45 pm for a 7:00 pm start. Feel free to bring your own yoga mats and pillows or use the ones provided in the space.

Michael and Jahna have presented their work at renowned institutions and festivals including SXSW, The Getty, LACMA and MOCA, each bringing distinct yet complementary expertise to these stages. Michael is a Master Ancient Himalayan Singing Bowl Artist and award-winning Sound Mixer & Supervisor, with recording credits spanning from Al Pacino to Kristen Bell, and acclaimed albums including Bowls of Mindfulness and Journey of Seven Bowls. Jahna is a Certified UCLA Mindfulness Awareness Facilitator through UCLA MARC and the Semel Institute, Director of Mindfulness Programs at C3, and a vocal alchemist whose performances and recordings, from The Journey Soundtrack to Into The Mindful Wild and In the Balance plus more, bridge music mindfulness and cinematic storytelling. Together, their combined mastery in sound, voice, neuroscience-informed mindfulness, and immersive design uniquely positions them to create transformative experiences.
