StarWatch with David Tresemer
Multiple dates and times
The StarHouse, 80302
Description
StarWatch or Naked-Eye Astronomy refers to studying the night sky without the aid of any optic device like binoculars or a telescope and is limited to what the eye can see. It is best practiced every night or as often as possible, however you can see more clearly during dark skies. We usually gather when skies are darkest, around the New Moon, depending on weather.
We will cancel on a cloudy night.
Coming to know the stars as more than twinkling dots in the darkness, it is a mission of StarHouse.
We will gather to view the constellations available at this time of year. Getting to know a star can be helpful in your own development.
Find your personal star and start a conversation. We also work with the deeper stories behind the ones usually shared.
We will begin on time. This is a Free event but we would like to know if you are coming.
