ABOUT THE DAY
Join us at St Monica's Primary School Wodonga, VIC, where leaders and staff will share how they are using instructional coaching and Steplab to support teacher development and improve classroom practice.
This event is designed for school leaders and coaching leads who want to see instructional coaching in action. Through classroom visits, live coaching sessions, and guided reflections, you’ll gain insight into how coaching systems can be designed and embedded in a real school context to improve instructional practice and student outcomes.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This Coaching Hub visit will include:
- An overview of St Monica's instructional coaching vision and journey.
- Classroom walkthroughs with a focus on key instructional techniques at St Monica's
- A live coaching conversation
- Time to engage with staff and ask questions about implementation
- A debrief session to reflect on what you’ve seen and how it may apply to your school
You’ll walk away with practical insights into:
- Designing and launching an instructional coaching program
- Using drop-ins, feedback, and deliberate practice to improve teaching
- Leveraging Steplab to support coaching consistency and impact
- Building the right culture and systems to sustain effective PD
Places at the St Monica's Hub Day are limited. We ask that each visiting school send a maximum of 2 representatives. If you book more than 2 places, you will be asked to adjust the booking.
