Christmas Candlelight - Orlando

For more than 100 years, the School of Music’s jubilant choirs and musicians have been captivating audiences with its annual, breathtaking performance, which has evolved into an evening dedicated to sacred music from various cultural and religious traditions celebrated during the holidays including beloved audience carols sung together, surrounded by choristers.

The 2023 Christmas Candlelight Concerts will showcase more than 150 student musicians including the Stetson University Concert Choir (SATB), and Hatter Choir (TTBB) conducted by Dr. Timothy Peter, and the Stetson Chorale (SSAA) conducted by Dr. Sandra Peter as well as instrumentalists from the Chamber Orchestra and Symphonic Band. Dr. Boyd Jones will be the featured organist. The musical repertoire for 2023 continues a tradition inclusivity and a welcoming spirit with the warmth of beautifully Lee Chapel (Dec.6-8) and the grand and magnificent First United Methodist Church in Orlando (Sat. Dec. 9). As each annual concert concludes, “Silent Night” will sung by multiple choirs as they light candles and close the performance.

PARKING: Utilize the surrounding parking garages; parking is not included in the price of the concert ticket. Please allow up to 30-minutes for parking.

  • On-street parking is metered and enforced by the City of Orlando.

ENTRY: Please have your tickets ready to be scanned at the door, either on a mobile device or printed. Advanced ticket purchases are required. All audience members must have a ticket to enter.

SEATING: Audience seating is available on a first-come basis. Concert staff attempts to keep all parties seated together for performances; however, due to the expected audience size, some parties may need to sit separate. Concert staff make every effort to accommodate the seating needs of every guest.

ARRIVAL: Doors to open no earlier than one-hour prior to the concert, 6:30 p.m. Early entry to the auditorium will not be permitted. All ticket holders must check-in prior to entering for seating.

Christmas Candlelight tickets available by advanced online purchase only. This concert is part of the Tinsley, Presser and McMahan Family Concert Season Pass.
