March of the Elephants Auction
Tue 24 Sep 2024 6:45 PM - 11:00 PM BST
Lichfield Cathedral, WS13 7LD
Description
Following a ten-week art sculpture trail around Lichfield, Tamworth and Sutton Coldfield, join us on Tuesday 24th September for an unforgettable evening at our March of the Elephants Auction!
Hosted in the iconic Lichfield Cathedral, watch our herd find new homes in a bidding spectacular and experience an atmosphere like no other, with the chance to take home your very own sculpture, both big and small!
Arrive from 6.45pm for drinks, canapes and the opportunity to browse around the sculptures. The Auction will start at 8pm, hosted by the well-known Richard Winterton Auctioneers, with some famous faces featured throughout the night.
But don’t wait – tickets are extremely limited and selling fast for this event. The reserve price for each large elephant sculpture starts at £3,000, so be prepared for some competitive bidding!
All money raised at auction will support St Giles Hospice. As a registered charity – with, on average, between 20-25% of its income funded by the Government – St Giles Hospice relies heavily on donations and income generation from the local community to provide its vital care services, and with hospices across the UK facing a £77 million funding deficit, the proceeds from this auction are more important than ever for St Giles Hospice.
We look forward to welcoming you to this one of a kind event!
