Legally Blonde: The Musical
Overview Legally Blonde The Musical is a fabulously fun, award-winning musical based on the adored 2001 film and the novel by Amanda Brown. With upbeat music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin and a book by Heather Hach, the show is an energetic, action-packed journey of self-discovery that shatters stereotypes.
The Story Elle Woods, a fashion-savvy, fiercely loyal sorority president, appears to have the perfect life. But her world is turned upside down when her boyfriend, Warner Huntington III, dumps her before heading off to Harvard Law School, claiming he needs someone more "serious."
Determined to win him back, Elle puts down the credit cards, picks up the books, and ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious university. At Harvard, she sticks out like a sore thumb, struggling to fit in with her snobbish peers, ruthless professors, and her ex's new preppy fiancé. However, with the help of her manicurist friend Paulette and a quirky law graduate named Emmett, Elle discovers that books and looks aren't mutually exclusive. She realises her true potential, using her unique knowledge and unwavering optimism to tackle a high-profile murder trial and prove that being true to yourself never goes out of style.
