occasional theatre is proud to present ‘Fulgens and Lucrece’, a one-time performance in the Pavilion at St Hilda’s College on Saturday 6th June at 5.30pm.
This production of Medwall’s ‘Fulgens and Lucrece’ explores how a dramatic text, written for a specific time and place more than 500 years ago, can work in our present, on a (hopefully sunny) Saturday in week 6 of Trinity Term in Oxford. It asks Medwall’s text and you: what does it mean to be an audience?
There are also bad jokes, excessive doubling, teenage rebellion, lip sync battles, violence, allegedly serious debates, and togas.
Light refreshments will be served. Audience standing with limited seating around the outside of the room.
