Health and Social Care Integration Policy and Context - Third Sector IJB Rep Training

This training provides an overview of the policy and legislative context of health and social care in Scotland to enable Third Sector Reps to understand some of the key challenges facing IJBs. Participants will explore how concepts of need, rights, welfare and social care have evolved over time, examine the development of health and social care integration, and consider the roles of key stakeholders including the NHS, local authorities and the third sector. Through discussion and practical exercises, learners will develop a critical understanding of current policy challenges and opportunities within Scotland’s integrated care system.
