Stirling & Clacks Community Link Workers Event: Social Prescribing and Community Wellbeing

NOTE: The location for this event has changed. It will take place at the Golden Lion Hotel in Stirling.

We would like to invite you to an event bringing together colleagues from the Third Sector, public sector and NHS to explore the work and impact of the Clackmannanshire and Stirling Community Link Worker Service.

Through presentations, case studies and service statistics, we will share how Community Link Workers support health and wellbeing through connecting people with services, organisations and opportunities within their communities.

You will also hear from NHS partners, who will share their perspectives and feedback on the Community Link Worker service and its contribution to primary care.

Importantly, the event will create space for discussion, shared learning and partnership working. Together, we will explore themes affecting health and wellbeing across our communities, including:

• Prevention and early intervention
• Gaps in services and support
• Barriers in accessing services
• Examples of successful partnership working

The event is an opportunity to bring together the experiences and perspectives of Community Link Workers and our partners, consider what we are collectively seeing across our communities, share examples of what is working well, and explore where greater collaboration could help improve health and wellbeing outcomes.
