Over 3 mornings - Wed 10th, 11th and 12th Jan

Materials: all materials are supplied

Participants will be making a simple oil painting of an arrangement of coloured objects in natural light. It will be an opportunity to learn to use a palette knife which means there is hardly any clean up and no need to use solvents. The focus will be on observing the light effect on the different surfaces, areas of shadow, and areas of reflected light. By the end of the third morning they will have a completely new way of thinking about and seeing colour in the world around them.
