Teens Sewing Ruffle Tote Bag with Lauren Jeffery

Tuesday 2nd July - 10-3pm 

Join Lauren for this 1-day creative sewing class where we will sew a fun ruffle tote bag.

Cute and stylish you will be wanting to make more!!

In this class students will not only have fun but learn the basics of sewing gathers, this can then be taken into garment sewing when making for example a tiered dress or a peplum style top. Also how to make and turn out straps and just work on improving their basic sewing skills.

Fabric and threads will be provided, students just need a pair of scissors, some sewing pins and a sewing machine.

*machines are available for hire also through the centre at an additional cost of $15.

PLEASE NOTE​

This is not a learn to sew class, students who enrol must have basic sewing knowledge including being able to thread their own machine. ​

A little bit about Lauren:

Hello my name is Lauren Jeffery of @lauren.jade.makes and I have been garment sewing for 3+ years. It's my passion!

I love the Indi sewing world and my instagram sewing community. I am in the process of developing my own sewing patterns that I hope to one day release into the world. 

I am also passionate about recycling fabrics & textiles that may otherwise end up in landfill.
