What you'll learn: This is a hands on, fun, information packed workshop. You’ll discover how to make with paper clay and develop your own creative style while creating pottery and sculpture—all without the need for expensive equipment.
During the workshop, you’ll create one or two of your own experimental pieces while gaining insight into the artist's thinking, processes, and studio practices. It’s a fun, hands-on day of making, experimenting, and learning a new technique, all while gaining skill and confidence alongside like-minded people.

Artist Profile - About your Tutor: A recipient of 20 awards, Graham Hay's artwork is in public collections in eight countries and features in 22 books. Introduced to paper clay in 1992 by WA Ceramic Chemist Mike Kusnik, Graham developed novel techniques and has since taught over 300 paper clay workshops in 14 countries. He led international paper clay symposiums and conferences in Hungary, Sweden, the US and published 40 journal articles in seven countries. Graham is grounded through teaching community ceramics in an inner-city Perth studio.
