 Teens Portrait Painting and Drawing  (over 5 weeks)

This dynamic art class offers teens a positive, inspiring space to grow creatively and build confidence in their artistic abilities. Each session blends drawing and painting techniques with a focus on truly learning to see, working from photos and still life to explore tonal range, perspective, and form. Participants experiment with pencils and watercolour while also developing an understanding of design concepts that help shape stronger, more intentional artworks. Along the way, everyone plans and completes a full acrylic painting on canvas, gaining both technical skills and a deeper sense of personal style. It’s an energising environment for teens who already love making art, as well as those eager to learn more and connect with like‑minded young creatives

About the Facilitator
Annie have been teaching kids/teens and Adult art classes since 1999 in community colleges and art centres in Sydney and surrounding NSW including the past 4 years here in Bunbury. As a professional artist and sculptor, Annie works in various mediums and styles and subjects and have exhibited in major galleries Sydney NSW and Australia

As a passionate artist Annie's aim is to inspire others to view the world with colour, possibility and positivity. As an art teacher, Annie's goal is to help individuals build confidence in their artistic availabilities across all age groups, allowing them to learn grow and express their creativity at their own pace. Annie specialises in teaching basic techniques, which helps students become confident and also to explore different mediums and styles or subjects.
