Unlock the secret to making your pastel paintings pop with depth and dimension. In this hands on workshop, participants will explore how tonal values bring form to life, using the unique shapes, textures, and colours of succulents as inspiring subject matter.
You’ll learn how light, shadow, and mid tones work together to create a convincing three dimensional effect, then apply these principles step by step in your own pastel artwork. With guidance from Pam, you'll build confidence in observing tone, layering colour, and capturing the distinctive structure and personality of succulent plants.
Along the way, you'll discover techniques for blending, colour layering, and mark-making that will help you create vibrant, realistic results while strengthening your overall pastel skills.
This workshop is ideal for beginners and developing artists who want to improve their understanding of tone, form, and colour while creating a striking contemporary succulent study
