Learn basic pottery techniques in our Introduction to Pottery Handbuilding workshop, with the Bunbury Studio Potters.
This class is suitable for complete beginners and those wanting to upgrade their pottery skills.
This course is also the qualifying course for membership to the Bunbury Studio Potters.
In this 3 session workshop you will learn the basic skills needed to create both decorative and functional pottery.
This workshop will take place over one weekend with a follow up session to glaze a few weeks later - all sessions are covered in your ticket.
Session 1 Saturday 13th August 9am -12pm
Session 2 Sunday 14th August 9am - 12pm
Session 3 (glazing) Saturday 3rd September 9am -11am

Materials : all materials are supplied, including bisque & glaze firing.
While the utmost care is taken handling your work, mistakes rarely but sometimes do happen. Stirling Street Arts Centre will do their best to ensure work is handled and fired safely but cannot be liable for any breakages, missing work or kiln mishaps.
Your work will be ready for collection on a date and time specified by Stirling Street Arts, you will be notified via email regarding collection after your final class. Work must be collected within 1 month of the date of notification. Please do not collect work on behalf of another attendee. SSAC cannot be held responsible if your work is collected by another class attendee.
For OHS reasons, please ensure that you wear closed in shoes and that long hair is tied back for these sessions.
