Create your own beautifully soft and rustic seat pad in this hands-on workshop with Devon textile artist Jean Fenton.

Using a traditional peg loom - a wonderfully simple yet highly effective weaving tool -you’ll learn how to transform natural fleece into a practical and characterful piece for your home. This versatile technique can also be used to make doormats and small rugs, giving you skills you can continue to explore beyond the class.

You’ll work with gorgeous washed local Jacob fleece, enriched with distinctive curly locks from Black Leicester fleeces. All the wool is sourced from well-cared-for sheep living on Jean's friend’s farm on Dartmoor, ensuring a truly local and sustainable material.

Guided step by step, you’ll leave with your own handmade seat pad and the confidence to continue peg loom weaving at home.
