Discover the art of traditional crewel embroidery in this inspiring workshop with Jean Fenton
You’ll learn a selection of classic crewel stitches and techniques, using pure British wool threads to build texture, depth, and flowing detail. Working from a hand-drawn design prepared for you, you’ll stitch your own beautiful contemporary bluebell design onto natural backing fabric, blending heritage skills with a fresh, modern feel.
Jean will guide you step by step, making the session suitable for both beginners and those looking to refine their embroidery skills. By the end of the class, you’ll have a finished piece presented in its own display hoop - ready to take home and proudly hang.
