Using high-quality British-sourced leather, you’ll learn how to measure and cut with precision, create decorative embossing, punch and saddle stitch by hand, and securely set rivets for a professional finish.

Red will guide you step-by-step through each stage of the process, sharing practical tips, techniques, and insights drawn from his experience as a maker. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have crafted your own unique leather key fob — a functional and stylish piece you can use every day or gift to someone special.

All tools and materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary — just bring your curiosity and creativity.

Red Morrigan is a master leather craftsman working across the full traditional process — from preparing raw hides and parchment for drum skins and manuscripts to producing tawed and furred goat, sheep, and deer skins for rugs, throws, and leatherwork. He also works with handmade and UK oak-tanned leathers to create and repair durable leather goods.

Using locally sourced, natural materials, Red follows historical, principled methods to craft distinctive handmade pieces. Each item is finished entirely by hand using traditional tools and techniques, including hand stitching with linen thread and beeswax, and completed with heritage UK-sourced findings and antique buckles.
