Creative Stitched Mini Landscape with Jean Fenton

In this creative workshop with textile artist Jean Fenton, you will use various creative embroidery stitches and natural wools and threads to make a mini landscape, an abstract or a design of your choice onto hand painted canvas fabric. You can embellish your work with curly locks and beads to make it into a one of a kind art piece. All materials provided.

Jean Fenton is a textile artist and tutor based on the southern edge of Dartmoor, where the natural landscape and constantly changing colours of the surroundings strongly influence her work. She teaches a range of textile skills, including feltmaking, spinning, embroidery, and weaving, using local materials wherever possible. Through her workshops and classes, Jean aims to encourage creativity and help students build confidence in their own artistic abilities.
