Learn to Knit

Learn to Knit with Hannah

Always wanted to learn to knit? Come along and learn the basics in a relaxed, friendly class with Hannah Bowley. VARIOUS TIMES AVAILABLE.

We’ll start from scratch and learn the two essential stitches  - knit and purl - before putting them into practice by making a small, simple rectangle. By the end of the class, you’ll be well on your way to turning your knitting into a useful little pouch by folding it in half and sewing up the sides.

The aim is to give you the confidence and skills to carry on knitting at home. Hannah will provide helpful links and photo tutorials to guide you through casting off your first piece and casting on for your next project, so you’ll be able to continue after the class.

Perfect for complete beginners 16 upwards ...no previous knitting experience needed, but eqully great if you've learnt before and forgotten how! Just come along, pick up some needles and yarn, and have a go!
