Learn to Crochet

Beginners Crochet with Tina Barrett

Always wanted to learn to crochet? Come along and learn the basics in a relaxed, friendly class with Tina Barrett. VARIOUS TIMES AVAILABLE!

We’ll start from scratch and learn the essential crochet techniques, including how to hold your hook and yarn, make a foundation chain and work simple stitches. You’ll then put your new skills into practice by starting a small, achievable project of wrist warmers to take home and continue.

The aim is to give you the confidence and skills to carry on crocheting at home. Tina will provide helpful links and photo tutorials to support you as you practise and move on to your next project.

Perfect for complete beginners age 16 upwards — no previous crochet experience needed. Just bring yourself, pick up a hook and yarn, and have a go!
