Plant Medicine: Supporting Menopause
Have you ever wanted to make herbal medicines from the garden and hedgerow? Join us for a relaxed and practical introduction to safe herbal medicines you can make at home. During this 3 hour workshop, local herbalists Janet Hay and Phoebe Sampson will guide you making your own plant medicines to support your own health through menopause, including making a tincture, a herbal hot chocolate and a soothing night time tea. We will talk more holistically about how our general health influences our experience of menopause and when appropriate to seek advice from a herbal practitioner. We'll also spend some time tasting teas and exploring our herb garden and orchard for useful plants - what better way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
£30 for 3 hour workshop, which includes your own remedies to take home, together with the knowledge and confidence to make your own in the future.
