Herbal Summer Balm Making Workshop
Have you ever wanted to make plant medicines from the garden and hedgerow? Join us for a relaxed and practical introduction into making herbal balms. During this 2 hour workshop, local herbalists Janet Hay and Phoebe Sampson will guide you making your own soothing skin balm - perfect for summer stings or sore skin. We’ll learn about other herbs that could be used in balms as part of your home herbal first aid kit. We'll also spend some time tasting teas picked fresh from our herb garden - what better way to spend a Monday afternoon!
£20 for 2 hour workshop, which includes your own balm to take home, together with the knowledge and confidence to make your own balms in the future.
One child (aged 8 or over) can attend with each paying adult. We will be warming oils and wax, so careful supervision required.
We are grateful this workshop is subsidised by the Herbal Medicine Trust :The Herbal Medicine Trust | Herbal medicine touches lives and we help to make it happen
