St. John the Baptist
Events list
St John’s Church sits on the north side of Church Lane in the village of Cranford in Northamptonshire. It is dedicated to St John the Baptist and dates from the 12th Century.
The Church is grouped with the parishes of Grafton Underwood, Slipton and Twywell to form one Benefice. Services are held every Sunday at 10 am: Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month. Variations and further details are published in Together, the parish magazine distributed every two months to all houses in the village.
The church, which is closely linked to Cranford Church of England Primary School, is managed by the Parochial Church Council (PCC). The full list of members is on the church notice board.
Volunteers keep the church clean and decorated and the churchyard tidy. We have recently planted a wild-flower garden in the churchyard as part of a Wildlife Trust project.
