Get ready to be part of one of Yorkshire’s popular runs as the York 10K returns this summer! With a fast, flat route starting and finishing on Knavesmire Road near York Racecourse, the race offers stunning views of the city’s historic landmarks, including Clifford’s Tower, the ancient city walls, and York Minster. Feel the electric community atmosphere as thousands of runners of all abilities come together for an unforgettable day in the heart of York.
Be a part of Team St Leonard’s and make every step count for our patients and families. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or taking on your first 10K, running for the Hospice helps us continue our vital work.
Your entry as part of Team St Leonard's will include:
- A branded St Leonard's running vest to wear with pride
- Chip timing for accurate race results
- A finisher’s medal and goody bag
- Encouragement and support from the St Leonard’s team
With several entry options to choose from, we’re here to support you in making your 10K unforgettable.
Your entry options:
- York 10K free entry: Receive free entry to the race when you commit to raising a minimum of £100 in sponsorship for St Leonard’s Hospice.
- York 10K paid entry: secure your spot with £26. This option has no minimum fundraising requirement.
Your support means we can continue to provide expert palliative and end-of-life care to patients, and support to families, in our Hospice, at home and in our communities.
