The Yorkshire Marathon Relay
Widely regarded as the jewel in Yorkshire's sporting crown, the Yorkshire Marathon offers an iconic running experience. The route takes you past some of York’s most historic landmarks and through its picturesque countryside, making it a must for runners of all abilities. The atmosphere is incredible, with enthusiastic support from locals every step of the way, including our very own St Leonard’s cheering squad. Run for St Leonard's and make every step count for our patients and families.
Be part of a relay team:
Get your marathon medal by joining five of your friends or colleagues for the Yorkshire Marathon Relay. The relay sees teams of six take on the beautiful streets of York in a battle to claim the bragging rights of being the fastest team in the race. It's all about teamwork. Whether you’re on the final leg (3.2 miles) or the 2nd (6.1 miles!), together you will complete a marathon.
And remember... it's tradition to do the 'Y' for Yorkshire as you cross the finish line!
Your marathon relay team entry includes:
- Branded St Leonard's running vests for each runner to wear with pride
- Chip timing for accurate race results
- Finishers medal and goody bag for each runner
- Encouragement and support from the St Leonard’s team
The event is organised by Jane Tomlinson's Run For All. Entrants must be 18 years or over on event day. Entries are non refundable. If the event is postponed, we will transfer your entry to the new date.
