MEET THE FACILITATOR: ADITI KAUSHIVA
Bio:
Aditi's passion for movement stems from her childhood growing up in India, where dance was an integral part of her culture. Formally trained in Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance form, and Jazz and Modern dance, Aditi brings a unique perspective to mindful movement practices.
After facing personal health challenges and overcoming entrepreneurial burnout, Aditi created Move to Thrive (MTT). This workshop series combines her love for Indian movement traditions with the power of mindfulness to help individuals de-stress, find joy, and reconnect with their inner child. It's an invitation to stress less and thrive more through mindful movement play.
She shares, “Born from my own entrepreneurial journey and challenges always leading to movement as a safe haven, MTT combines elements of Indian dance forms, modern dance, improvisation, and mindfulness. My aim is to create a safe and welcoming space for individuals of all backgrounds and abilities to express themselves and deepen the mind-body connection through movement flows and breathwork. I always end my classes with a dose of Bollywood style community dancing, honoring my culture and introducing the explosive power of peppy beats to cultivate fun and joy in the participants!”
