Ayoka Fashion Show Workshop
This is your chance to make second hand fashion pieces for a second hand fashion show!
On Saturday 26th September, as part of Second Hand September and Sustainable Fashion Week, we are giving our community the chance to see clothes from our charity shop Ayoka as they have never seen them before: on the catwalk! But we need you to put the pieces together. Details of the Fashion Show are here.
Do you love sewing? Love altering, mending, upcycling and embelishing? Well, this workshop is for you!
Join our Fast Fashion Therapy team as they guide you through taking a piece of clothing from Ayoka and turning it into a high fashion item to be paraded down the catwalk!
No materials needed (unless you have something from home that you’d like to change and amend instead) - we’ll provide you with items from Ayoka and the sewing equipment to make the changes you want to make.
