Into the Woods

Into the Woods intertwines familiar fairytales – Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk and Rapunzel – through the story of a Baker and his Wife seeking to lift a curse. Act One follows wishes coming true, while Act Two explores the consequences of what happens after the "happily ever after". As a giant threatens the kingdom, characters confront loss, responsibility and moral ambiguity, discovering that desires have costs and that growing up means living with what follows after dreams collide with harsh reality.

Into the Woods is presented through special arrangement with Musical Theatre International. All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.

Into the Woods running time is approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes plus one 15 minute intermission.

What age is this play appropriate for?
Into the Woods can be considered PG-13. The play features content and themes that are more suited for teenagers and adults, including depictions of violence and death, scenes of intimacy, crude language, allusions to assault, reference to pregnancy and child loss, and effects such as sudden sound effects and flashing lights.

Are there reserved seats?
All seating is open to all ticket buyers. 

What time will the doors open?
The house will open at 7:30 for evening shows and 1:30 for matinee shows. Due to the staging of the show, there will be no late seating.

Will there be refreshments?
Yes, drinks and snacks are available for purchase before the show and at intermission. Drinks and snacks can be brought into the theatre.

Where can I park?
There are paid lots near the theatre, but you can also find street parking in the nearby neighborhood if you arrive early.
