Screening of the National Emergency Briefing
Share this event
In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. The next step is to take this vital message across the UK, bringing together people from across local communities to hear the evidence and discuss how to respond.
St Mary’s Church Embsay are hosting a public screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing which is a powerful film fronted by TV presenter and environmentalist, Chris Packham.
The screening will take place on Sunday 26th July 2026 at St. Mary’s Church on Kirk Lane in Embsay. There will be refreshments and the opportunity for discussion.
There is no charge to attend the screening but we ask that people who wish to attend to book tickets to help with the organisation.
There is some parking available opposite the church and also a village car park on Main Street in Embsay. The church has toilet facilities and has disabled access.
