St Matthew’s Colour Run 2026

Come and join St Matthew’s PTFA as we celebrate the summer with our very first Colour Run!

This fun-filled family event is open to both children and adults, so whether you want to run, walk, jog, or cheer from the sidelines, we’d love you to be part of it.

The event will take place on Saturday 11th July 2026 on the school grounds. Gates open from 12:00pm, with the first wave starting at 1:00pm.

Wave Information

Waves 1, 2, 4 & 6 – Family Runs
Open to all ages so families and friends can run together.

Wave 3 – Younger Children
For children up to Year 1.

Wave 5 – older children
For children in Year 2 to Year 6.

Please note: if an adult wishes to run alongside their child, they must also purchase a participant ticket. Only those with a wave band will be able to run.

Participants will complete a colourful obstacle-style course around the school field, with music, bubbles, water fun, and plenty of non-toxic colour powder along the way.

Please wear a white T-shirt (event T-shirt available to preorder)  — the brighter the better once the colour powder flies! Protective eyewear must be worn during the run. Wristbands will be provided on arrival to identify your wave.

Please be aware that the colour powder used is non-toxic but may stain clothing and footwear. We recommend wearing old clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting marked.

Event T-Shirts
Official Colour Run event T-shirts are available to purchase for £10 each. These must be preordered at the time of ticket purchase and will not be available to buy on the day.

You are very welcome to attend even if you do not wish to take part in the Colour Run itself.

All profits raised will go directly towards supporting the children and school community at St Matthew’s.
