A Church has stood on this site for over 1,000 years. The Church was dedicated to Saint Neotus on the 14th of October 1321. The present church building was built between 1425 and 1530.

Beautiful stained glass windows introduce brilliant coloured light into the church. Wooden boards are in the church cataloguing the names of the past vicars, they start in 1266 and go to the present day.

We are in the Diocese of Truro. We consider ourselves a living church, and the doors are open everyday from 8am until sunset.

The Parish Church of St Neot has to generate all its own income. It costs £120 a day to care for our historic building and to maintain our worship, music tradition and community activities. We receive no financial support from any agency or church body, national or local. Income comes solely from the generosity of worshippers, visitors and charitable giving and fund raising.

The windows at St Neot are considered to be some of the finest examples of pre-reformation stained glass to be found in England. They somehow survived the reformation and have been cared for by the parish for hundreds of years. They tell stories from the bible, the life of St Neot, the legend of St George as well as depicting the families of benefactors.
