Workshop: Print, Print, Print

In this fun printmaking workshop, children will design and decorate their own personalised canvas bag using everyday objects and foam board stamps.
The finished bag is the perfect size for carrying a PE kit, making it both practical and completely one-of-a-kind for the return to school!
No previous experience is needed, and all materials are provided.
Booking required. Spaces are limited, so reserve yours today!
Who needs a ticket? Children aged 4+ (£5 per child); adult accompaniment required. Adults attend free.
What to bring? Just enthusiasm and creativity! All materials provided.
What Your Child Will Learn
- How to create repeating geometric patterns using simple printmaking techniques
- Colour and design skills, including choosing colours that work well together
- Fine motor skills through printing, positioning, and decorating their bag
- How to transform a plain canvas bag into a personalised item!

Your session will be led by Lesley Sainsbury, our passionate Education Officer who loves bringing history to life for little learners. She and our friendly museum team can't wait to welcome you!
