We are offering a trip to Winchester primarily to visit the unusual and historic Hospital of St Cross and Almshouse of Noble Poverty, founded in the 12th century by Henry of Blois. Admission and a tour by one of the resident Brothers is included, and there is an excellent tea shop available. The tour is timed for 2pm, so we are also offering a stop in Winchester for a couple of hours either to explore the town or to visit the Cathedral which will be holding a flower festival - Wild! A Festival of Flowers and Nature. Tickets for this are not included, but are available from their website and may sell out. If you would like to spend all the time in Winchester, please let us know and we can pick you up on our return from St Cross, but we are sure you won't be disappointed by joining us for that!

If you would like to go to the Flower Festival, please let us know ASAP (friends @stnicolasbookham.org.uk) as we may be able to get a group rate.

Please book early so we can know we have enough numbers to run the trip.
